At the beginning of the movie Midnight Madness, Harold reveals that he is going to put Leon's clues through a computer and (in 1980!) he has no difficulty solving the race that way. Until recently that was fantasy but now in the act of LLMs like ChatGPT it's, well, not quite, but not as fanciful as it used to be.
While working on the new race I've found that ChatGPT seems to have no problem solving some of the easier clues, say levels 1-3, but falls down at 4. I don't want to make the race all level 4s, that would just make it too elite, so I think I might need to ban the internet and enforce it only using the honor system. 1) It's for charity, so why would you want to cheat a charity? 2) It's only for bragging rights, if you "cheat" you're only cheating yourself, so why "cheat?" 🙂
