So you should have a cellphone with you, but its 2025, I'm sure that's assumed. A good half of the race will be digital so we won't have to worry about physical clues. That said, you will have to grant humanrace.cc location access on your phone.
Beyond the $20 per person entry fee you should only have to spend less than $5 per person in-race. You could cheap out and spend $0 but I'd think it'd be best to expect to spend at least $2.90 per person... which happens to be the price of one subway ride... go figure.
There will be food and beverage for purchase at the finish line so feel free to fast during the race, though during my research runs I made multiple stops for pizza and beverage (apparently there's water fountains in the parks now?).
Rain date? I hope there's no need for a rain date. We'll cross that bridge when we come to it.
